The combined resources of government, business, and not-for-profit organisations, when well coordinated, and carefully deployed can make a difference to those who might not otherwise be able to share in the goods of our society. A compact between government and the not-for-profit sector is one means whereby we can articulate and implement a commitment to identifying and supporting those who are marginalised, and enabling all in society to reach their full potential.
