Not-for-Profit Sector Reform Council

In December 2010 the former Minister for Social Inclusion, the Hon Tanya Plibersek MP, announced the appointment of the Not-for-Profit Sector Reform Council members. In addition to advising on the implementation of the National Compact, the Council will help drive sector reform by providing advice to the Government on the implementation of the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission, reducing red tape, streamlining tendering and contracting processes for government funded not-for-profits and a nationally consistent approach to fundraising.
